    i would post the snopes link, but it is NWS due to the picture of a chewed up hiker... but they busted it as BS... the bear wasnt QUITE that large, and shot with a .338 SIX times, and it never killed anyone....

    I don't hunt much, but stories like this are why when I do go hunting I take a shotgun and a couple of rifles...including the AK-47....juuuust in case.
