This thread is in no way attacking ANYONE. There is no personal messages hidden in here, this is my opinion and my promise to this family as a moderator. I want nothing more than for CM.com to be the place it was when I joined almost 3 years ago.
As for the cliques that many of us have noticed, I have noticed them too. The best way we can move past them, is for people to get over their personal differences, arguments or whatever it is between people causing animosity (the DRAMA). I am new to the moderator scene, but I am taking my duties VERY seriously. Some people may classify me as being in one of the cliques, but I can tell you right now, I am not. There is not one member on this site that I don't have respect for or that I would take their side over another member. This may sound a bit harsh, but I don't give a damn who you are, a noob that has less than 5 posts or anyone within our top 5 posters (Jayalbercars, Greenking, MagWag, Notpaid4MSRT8 or Radglenn) You cross the line, break the rules, personally attack someone, I DON'T CARE the reasons. You will be held to the same standard as everyone else. Infractions and Banning could happen to ANYONE!!!!!!!!!
As for the drama, if you have an issue with something someone has said or done, report the post. Just click on the icon under the persons avatar. Karl and I can't read everypost on the site. Reporting a post will allow you to be sure that we are made aware of ANY situation.
(it looks like this)
If you have a personal discussion that needs to take place, keep it as such...... USE PM's, thats why they call them PERSONAL MESSAGES. If its a situation you want a moderator to be aware about, include either myself or Karl on the PM. Just handle the situation like an adult.
Lets bring this site back to the place it used to be, and the site that it still is. Its just masked by childish BS, that we all know we can move past and deal with on an adult level. I am tired of seeing members leave the site. We are all family, some relationships are close like brothers. Some are more like a distant cousin twice removed uncles sisters dogs aunts grandmother, But we are still FAMILY, brought together by the same passion, The Dodge Magnum.
