    I had that droid last week its ok nothing that hot blackberry storm is ok to i play with a lot of the new phone before they come out to me the best touch screen is the i phone and palm pre everything else is just ok just my opinion

    i would avoid the bb like the plague....im currently using the storm 1, and its the worst piece of technological engineering ive ever seen. I can't imagine that the storm 2 will be much better, and with what ive been through on the first one i would never give them another chance at it

    here in a few weeks im upgrading to the droid probably, gonna wait to see what the users say, instead of just the reviews

    Hero doesn't compare to Droid. Old OS, Slower processor, smaller screen, MUCH lower resolution. Hero's resolution is the same as the iPhone...poor @ 320x480, while the Droid's is DVD quality (720x480 resolution) up to 30 fps playback. Plus it's on Sprint's network which I wouldn't wish on anyone.

    BB doesn't have the processing power of the Droid either. it also has a smaller screen, MUCH lower resolution, Droid can hold a 32GB SD card, effectively making it a PC, tablet, or as close as a phone has ever been to one. Check the specs for yourself:

    Lastly, it's open source, meaning more updates, more apps, less restriction from manufacturer (RIM, Apple) allowing you to blow the phone out.
    When I get to work later, I'l list the apps I have and what they do....that'll definitely help make your decision.

    IF you don't like the Droid, don't settle for Storm 2, wait until the new HTC Passion comes out (rumored to be as early as mid-December or as late as Jan 15th).

    Friend o mine has the first one ,...he got it reprogrammed....said it works great now

    yeah, ive had verizon update it once, and dowloaded new OS myself off of crackberry twice. each time it gets better, but still is a hunk of crap

    wow....sorry to hear that man... but in a way.... thats what Im worried about with the next move.... so far the only thing I have heard bad about the droid...

    2. key board a bit cramped.

    the heaviness ... I dont mind...makes it feel like Im holding something..... that dont bother me.... but if Im gonna have it for a while... I dont want to hold onto crap for at least another year...

    dont like blackberry the last two HTC i had i wasnt to happy with (they lock up all the time) and Ive had my motorola for over two years with no issues so I will have to say droid by motorola I think I will be picking one up this week
