    Ooooh yeah! It's all good... I gotta new little nephew

    ...allow me to introduce Silas. My neice and her husband are beaming with pride, and I'm thinkin' he's a pretty cool little guy, myself.

    His "real" mother, if she could be called that, was crack addicted and in prison when Silas was born... but God was lookin' after the little fella and he's healthy, suffering no apparent effects from the drugs his mother used.

    The adoption is now final and our family has another reason to celebrate!



    He's checkn' out his new wagon grandpa built for him... but, he was a bit miffed in the photo, 'cause he'd been watching the Sharks vs. Blues game, and the Sharks were losin'... (lol)

    Good for all of you! He's going to have a wonderful home and a great grandpa! I know how some of those babies can have medical issues and withdrawals. I used to have a firend that would care for drug babies in her home until they were adopted.

    Thanks everyone, all the doctors say he's seemed to have escaped all the horrible things babies of addicted mothers suffer. He's just a normal happy/cranky, hungry/poopin', bop til he drops, little guy.
