Uggghhh.... I made a BIG mistake!

SO... amrakweno came out to visit at the show today... man is that thing looking good all laid out... the pics don't do it justice, it is really sharp!

ANYWAY, I made a big mistake.... I went for a ride in his SRT...

I was comin out of a 2.7 and test drove a 5.7. Due to financial reasons (I was broke and applyin for a car loan) I ended up right in the middle with my 3.5. Horsepower isn't really my thing, but the 6.1 sure is a sexy vehicle.

Believe ME.... I LOVE my SRT and my R/T, however it's as much FUN to me driving Tee's DEMON car with the 3.5L v6!

I will say THIS.... IT'S very hard NOT to DRIVE the SRT fast; it just wants to GO!!! So, I have to be very careful EVERY TIME I DRIVE THIS CAR as to not Bake the rear tires and SPEED! Honestly!!!!!

In fact I drove it a couple of weeks ago out here on our country STRAIGHT road and it kinda scared me after NOT driving it for a couple of months. At WOT take off, sideways in first, again in second and spun in third. I had forgot how much POWER it had ~LOL~

Yeah I really shouldn't have rode in that SRT... I know it... but it's too late now... I feel the need for Hemi.... Don't HAVE to have the SRT... BUT... I know where there is one for 15k.... on this board..... I need HEMI!

Thats why I have never test drove an SRT8. I know I would be getting that "grin". And once I get the "grin" then its over.

i hate my 2.7, but I can't fathom having a srt with gas prices and it being my only car. I drove my friends mustang gt the other day with a turbo charger....and i could just see the tickets being written by cops. it was TOO hard to drive "normal". I should have gotten a 3.5.

Yeah... I knew better... but that part of me got dazzled by the airbags on his ride... I was totally blinded to the SRT badges... then the Hemi bit me... I really don't want to part it out to sell but know I can't get my money selling it with the mods...
