Pet Peeves about drivers

I can't stand it when people don't have the courtesy to get out of the fast lane for a faster moving vehicle. I am going to get a license plate frame that says "Move Over - Slower traffic Keep Right".

Then there is the idiot who won't get out of the fast lane, but when you try to pass them on the right they speed up so you can't pass.

What about the idiots who try to merge on the freeway going 45mph or slower.

The people who cut in and out of traffic to get a car ahead of everyone. Just pick a lane and stay in it. This asshole is just creating more traffic.

Ford drivers. . . from personal experience I have noticed that the majority of drivers who make the violations above and other idiotic moves tend to drive a ford product. I am not saying that only Ford drivers make these mistakes, but about 75% of the time it is a Ford product, i.e. Lincoln, Mercury, Jaguar, etc. . .

Do you have any others to add to the list.

For me it's the folks that pull out in front, make me slam on breaks, go about a quarter mile (if that far) and turn. Usually without a blinker to add possible injury to insult.

Florida and Georgia are starting to crack down on some of the things you mentioned. I know if you are in the fast lane and not going the maximum speed with people behind you, a ticket will be issued. Also, if your not going the min speed a ticket will be issued. If a proper merge is not made, a ticket will be issued.

Georgia and Florida both have given a 10 to 13 mile an hour speed allowance to try and help with some of the issues you mentioned. I think it's getting a bit better and it's mainly to help with all of the older folks in the south that need to understand they can cause serious issues if they are not keeping up with traffic and staying in the proper lane.

My personal peeve is people that drive in the slow lane and won't let other merge into the lane. If you are going to drive in the slow lane you need to let others in...

This seems to happen to me on a daily basis; Some idiot waits until the last second to pull out in front of me (so I need to brake hard) and EVERY TIME I notice there is NOT ONE CAR behind me! That person could'nt have waited 2 seconds for me to pass before making his turn? I could understand (maybe..) if there was a long line of cars behind me but...

Well it has to be the driver that is in a the fast lane and going 65 and just sits there. You see a space in the middle and you go for it and then the person speeds up to not let you in. Well i have taken to just going over in to the lane any way and they have no options but to brake or just run in the back of me. If they dont Oh well. Then you start to see they can drive faster as they try to give you the finger. I blow kisses at them and smile.
