I am running the Zoomers setup and it sounds awesome. They have polished stainless mufflers and the stainless tips. The tips are larger than stock and look right on the car. The sound is low and gutteral.
I have the dyno max system on mine.. interior noise was a bit much but I have since applied allot of Rockford Fosgate dead skin and I now have no road or exhaust noise
i have the borla 125 system...i love it, but it probably would be too loud for some...has a lot of interior resonance at WOT, but other than that really nice and you learn how to cut down the drone...have to get used to the 5" tips too even with a few drawbacks, i still am happy with this system
this pic even exagerates it more...but they grow on you and you get used to them
i applied RoadKill...JLs version of Dynomat...and it helped keep out road noise but i still get the exhaust noise i like
Zoomers, Zoomers, Zoomers, Zoomers, I cant say it enough. No drone, great sound at idle and wot, interior noise at criuse is very acceptable. I love my zoomers, and no I do not work for them. I'm sure they have sound with the video clips on their web site. Zoomers! no need for sound insulators. Zoomers!!!!! (as you can tell I'm hooked on Zoomers)

I dig how dynatech headers with magnaflow exhaust sounds. Old school deep rumble. You can hear it with open headers in this video: http://grinnerhester.com/headers.html

You think the dynomax was bad, your lucky you diidnt try the Flowmaster. My teeth still hurt from the drone haha. But man it did sound good!!
