flashpaq install

Hey guys I just purchased the Superchips Flashpaq for my RT and have not installed it yet. I just want to get some advice from those that have it and any do's and don'ts. I know it's supposed to be an easy install but would just like to get some input from anyone. Any advice would be appreciated. I also just recieved the new Injen tuned powerflow intake, I've had Injen in my import and it was great. More mods to come.

Just be sure to find out what the OD of yout tire setup is so you can put it in the Flashpaq. It is a pretty straightforward install. here are the settings I currently have:

91 tune
Raised shift points
Reduced Torque Management
Raised speed limiter to 150mph
Auto shift kick

Yep, that works...you should be fine.
On some of the very early Magnums, like mine, I can't use the trans settings until I can find someone to update my TCM, so far no luck at four dealers.....

Here is a link to a cool calculator to figure out the OD of your tire. http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp You are going to look at the output for the "tire diameter" field.

okay guys, installed the chip and injen intake with no prob, except may have to cut and modify the engine cover because the intake is so freakin big but it's no prob. The only problem I have is I heard some of ya'll that have the chip are chirping in second. I can't get my mag to do it. What is the secret? because I'm addicted to spinning my wheels ( I know, expensive). Its the chip, it's changed me lol I've tried it in auto shift kick and manual shift hold, actually redlined it around 6500 rpms, the mag did not like that, got that special sound ya know when a gear needs to be shifted to the next, but I had to see just how far I could take it.
