Dynolicous - Just more proof that Apple Rules!
So I get a text from one of my boys in MD and he told me about this little gem Dynolicous.
iPhone Apps We Like: Dynolicious Car Performance Meter It's dyno software for your iPhone/iPod Touch. It utilizes the accelerometer and has a ton of features. My buddy is all over the mini forums, he says they have tested it against G-Tech's and it's close, consistently close. The HP numbers for the difference in the stock vs modded cars were on, the actual HP numbers were a bit lower on the Dynolicous vs the Dyno. The car was returned to stock and tested with both. The mods were bolted back on and then tested with both systems again. It's supposedly closer than .08 on the 0-60 too. I downloaded it tonight and i'm gonna put the stock tuning on this week and set the baseline and then test 'er with the 91 tune and the rest of the goodies. If you have an iPod Touch/iPhone it's a $13 Dyno. I can't wait to see if it works, and what results I get. I HAD to share this program with y'all. Buddy of mine at work got it to for $9 a few weeks ago. He has yet to try it but it sounds cool. I have the old ipod though so...spring for the new itouch or get the G-Tech? Keep us posted!
