Exhaust question for 5.7 hemi

I know ..... I know ..... not another exhaust thread. But when I'm looking for advise, this is where the real-time experts are. The last thread was for 6 cylinder cars so ... I figured a V8 specific question was in order. I'm thinking about putting a cat back exhaust system on my 5.7 mag. I don't want a ton of interior resonance but I do want good exterior sound when I romp it. I'm looking at Magnaflo, Borla and Flowmaster systems at this point. Any imput on these or any other systems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey, I went with the Borla and i feel it was worth every penny. Inside you can hear it when punch it and it's not overwhelming and outside it sounds nice as well, Borla makes types, one is aggresive on the sound and the other is moderate. I got the moderate one which was recommended to my by the guy at the shop since i told him i wanted to be able to think while i was driving. Hope this helps!!

Checkout the JBA setup. I have the JBA headers and exhaust combo and love the sound and performance.

I have the Magnaflow one and it is very loud! It was loud and deep once I got it, but not loud enough for my liking so I deleted the resonator and now its pretty nice! If you are willing to wait, I bet cherry bomb will come out with something very very good. The new Charger one is out, so the Magnum cant be far behind. If you dont, then heres what I have seen. Borla looks the best, Magnaflow sounds the best, and Flowmaster I dont care for. However these are all my opinions.

Thanks for the posts gang. The sound clips and your actual experience with the different set-ups was very helpful. At this point, I'm torn between the Borla and Magnaflow systems. It may come down to price at the end but, you never know. Thanks again. You guys are the grooviest. Ha!

Hey all, I'm in the same boat, but looking at Corsa, Borla, maybe JBA. Does anyone have experience with Corsa? That is my front runner now.

I'm in the "wife won't ride if exhaust is too loud" camp, so I'm looking for the good sound at idle and speed, but a nice roar under throttle.

The Corsa's have a nice sound, quiet until you jump on it....
I've been running Zoomer's for 2 years and they are great, you may want to give them a look...
