Auto stick shifting

All new to me. Strange shifting without a clutch. Is there a proper shifting technique? Find myself leaving it in drive most of the time. Dont know if I should get off the gas between shifts or not. Whats the technique????

If u get off the gas then get back on it. The car tends to kick a little and i hate that.If u want to race someone i would just shift at like 6k. And when down shifting i just raise the rpms up and down shift so it will be smooth and not jerk and lag. The cars will take off like a rocket from the line if you know how to launch it. And leaves like a bat out of hell if u know how to properly down shift from 3rd to 2nd are from 4th to 3rd.

when playing, I manually shift. No need to let off between shifts unless you just want it to sound cool and hop when you get back on it..which is totally understandable. When I race, I turn off traction control, put it in 1st and just let it shift on it's own. A superchips flashpaq will rasie your shift pints and you can totally get some sweet 2nd gear scratches and chirp em in 3rd.
