K&N Intakes

I noticed there are 2 different type of K&N intake kits. Why does one claim over 20hp and the other one only 10+ hp? Are there any other kits that are better? What about gas mileage improvements?

K&N Typhoon

They used my car as one of the development vehicles and they picked up 18hp at the wheels over stock on their dyno with the prototype on my R/T.

The finished part is almost identical, except it's polished.
Stock - 290hp
w/Typhoon - 308hp

Niether will give you squat for HP gains..there have been many tests run and even asked K& to review and comment and they refused...do it if you LKIE it..but don't get upset when it doesn't give you much until a programmer comes out.
