    TranZformer

I've been through numerous mods to the tranny of a stock R/T, progressing to a stroker and Paramount trans.

The DS flash was OK, but not as good as the old Superchips transmission flash. Yet I had to move forward to DS for tuning purposes.

NOESP mod was cheap and reliable, and I still use it instead of re-flashing with the DS mode. So that takes care of traction elimination.

I went to the "Silver Box", and that worked great on the shifts both up and down, and it was on the fly control.

The Blue solenoids, by Mercedes gave me a even firmer shift, but that was a constant, so back to the silver box. Wish it was still available.

The Builder Bill tranny, with a 4K stall was better yet. but the high stall was a bit sloppy around town. It downshifted to unlock frequently and killed MPG.

Adding the MPTCM locked my TC in 2nd and above and took care of that.
But it also eliminates the auto up shift in paddle hold, to paddle kick, and I'm too old to keep up with that in lower gears.

So, my bottom line to allow the BB trans and valve body, MPTCM to control TC lock, and keeping paddle shift, is the TranZformer.

It mimics the action of the CAN B or C buss and thinks you just paddle shifted. When selecting 1st in paddle gear, it will shift at the programmed shift point. The MPTCM held you to 6200 and didn't auto shift for you.

Two additional features are the Steering wheel up and down shift, using the volume buttons. Much less costly and it works great.
Then the line lock added to hold the front brakes, while you break them loose. It cuts off after the tires break loose, but once you have them spinning - so what!

With this produce, there is no need for the MPTCM, paddle shifters, and line lock.

Just sayin, it's a great alternative.
