What is the best starting point for perfom.
I just got a Hemi Magnum, I would have like to have gotten the RT8 but alas they are awful expensive. I am new to this area but would like some thoughts from you experts on the best place, and the best products to start too get more horsepower in my Magnum.
I sort of believe that there is never enough horsepower, any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Stone |

Cold air intake will help right away. Jet chip, upgrade the exhaust system. I think these would be good places to start and you can do the mods your self. You will get other ideas coming from the guys and gals on this site for sure. You can go to past forum threads for specifics on places to purchase and brand names. I say this because everyone has differant ideas and a lot has been done on trial and error. The threads will discuss these issues in detail and point you in the right direction. When I see information you may be interested in, it will be forwarded to you.

An airHammer cold air intake offers the most bang for the buck with a Superchips Flashpaq in close second. You'll get 20 hp and lotsa torque from there two mods. I know of no other CAI that offers HP gains, including the one on my car. I gained a little bit from headers and exhaust but not until porting and polishing the heads.
I have mine at 316rwhp and 350 torque now. I will sell ya a Jet Chip Stage two for 150 bucks shipped if interested. |

$150 bucks isn't bad for the Stage II Jet Chip...I'll have to thin kabout that one myself

Superchip Flaskpaq, exhaust and CIA will get you started in th eright direction. Next high-flow cats and headers.
