I think ive only got really creative with the intake.
I know K&N makes good filters and I definately do not want to drop +200 on a full K&N intake. And why should I if I can do it cheaper? This cost me like $50 for the K&N, breather filter, and adapter(made it out of a short piece of PVC).
I plan on having a tube made(Or making one of my own) to replace the stock one eventually. Even after that I expect little more than $70 for the entire thing. I think that would be tough to beat.

As for the legality Im pretty sure Im good. Just the way it was worded on the box made me think it might not be entirely legal.

Where did you get it made at? I was thinking an exhaust shop would be able to bend and cut me a pipe. Then Id prep and paint it to my liking.

exhaust shop they charges me 30 bucks but im sure you can get it cheaper, i was in a rush before truck jams and was in a need it now situation...

it just a pipe with a 23 degree bend nothing special...more pics will come

this is what my intake looks like and it cost me about 50 bucks airfilter included i even drilled the holes for the tubes and sensors. the kit is by spectra and the airflter is apc.
