I am still laughing, I had to go pick up my brother at a bar (since he is irresposible and doesn't plan a DD for the night) so on my way I stop at a light and moments later a civic pull up beside me showing off it's 10ft wingspan spoiler and farty exhaust. It's 1am no one around, he looks at me and gives his car a little rev. Having only owned my Mag for 3 weeks I haven't really "raced" but I figgured it's about time so I floor it come the green light and came to a stop at the next light only a block away. I look in the mirror and he is casually following up beside me. . I guess he decided not to race but as he is coming to a stop beside me the light I am at turns green and now this guy guns it. Having only come to a rolling stop he takes off ahead of me but that did not deter my "little" 3.5L . . All I can say is he was behind me easily within the next block and a few blocks later he was no where to been seen.

I wouldn't call that a win but more of a joke. Either way it amused the hell out of me

Ricers, they think just because they make noise that they actually have something.
Most of them look like nothing and sound like lawnmowers, some of them kick a$$, I saw them at the track, but they are not the norm.

I think there not good at fractions.
Half the weight, and a third the horsepower, and quarter the torque.
It adds up to "I can take him" in there minds.

I've YET to have one attempt to race me yet...

Guy at my work has a new 08 EVO-IX... I'm not one for rice but I don't think my 4.2k ton beast will beat him. Almost 300hp and half the weight, its a tin can though with an Aspiratted inline4 attached ... I think if I had a turbo as well I could defiantly beat him, in a drag, probably not on a track

However the owner of the place just bought an 07 Corvette, so i think he'll be leading the pack

This guy was one of the exceptions as I mentioned before, they're out there, be careful: Honda civic ricer kicked my RT's ass.

Oh I don't deny that there are fast ones out there. . . but they probably make up a small percent of the "ricer" category.

PS: I think I have no choice but to rspect any Civic that can take on a Magnum R/T . . . Something must have been done right to that Civic you raced 05 MAG RT
