Guys a stock mag against the newer mustang gt shouldn't win. thats the way it is so either a mustang driver is not trying, towing something, or busted his car is basically the only way stock vs. stock.

Riding in my wife's friends GT, she got on it a few times and I didn't feel much g forces that I feel in mine when I punch it... most likely the torque. 320tq vs 380tq

Looked to be either an 07 or 08 early model GT, it defiantly had exhaust it was mean sounding.

Looking at the numbers too, I think a stock R/T vs a GT we would loose but not by much... the weight to horsepower ratio is what gets us... I love how much torque these RT's have, a almost as much as a 6.0L GTO

my brother in law has an 05 gt with flowmasters and k&n intake and i have k&n intake and flowmasters and its a pretty close race but he usually gets me by a fender, but thats with the mag in D and esp on we both have eibach pro kit but he does have 20's that are actually lighter than his stock wheels which give him better launch with the wider tire

I raced 2 mustangs this past Friday going home from work, not at the same time, this was on the highway, very light traffic. I always recommend racing on the track, but sometimes I cant control my foot..... Anyway, the first was a 92 or so Mustang GT, he didnt stand a chance, he went by me reving his engine at about 50, so I spanked him til about 90 then I decided I didnt want a ticket, 2 minutes later a brand new GT pulled up next to me and made some noise, so of course, I floored mine and he was at my tail from 60 to 110. Not sure what mods were on either car, they were both loud, but mine at WOT was louder.
