I have never taken my Mag to the track, but I don't see why we couldn't make it to the 15's using a CAI, Exhaust and Stage 2 chip. I mean if BrokeBish is running a 16.3. A little cold air and a little weight reduction, should do the trick.

I dont know what a "red bean" is exactly but I didnt observe any negativity or bashing from any posts. As far as the blastin bob's performance gains... I dont really know. I went with those because the true cat back dual systems were more $$$ than I could justify. I would think there would at least be a few horsepower given that you drop some weight when you elliminate the factory resonator and open the exhaust a little when it splits into dual.

Sure wasn't me that sent anyone a bean.

Ok, I've got an update. The first time I ran the track I had the Exhaust Depot True Dual, press-bent, Resonated exhaust. I had a SRI from E-bay and the Jet Chip II. My best time was a 16.5

I went again on Saturday and ran a 16.07. That was with the stock intake, no Jet-chip. And my exhaust was changed to an Exhaust Depot True Dual, Mandrel Bent, X-pipe, Non-resonated system. And I also got many compliments on how it sounded from the Hemi guys. I'm hoping once I get my Airhammer H.O. i will be able to break intop the 15's.

Oh and BTW, I ran with my 22's on also both times.

I don't think the Blastin Bob's increases any power. It just amplifies the sound. You'd need a full catback to reap any benifits.

Thats one area I dont really understand. Seems to me the catback systems are not that much different from stock, pretty much drop the factory resonators and muffler and add their own. I can understand headers, high flow cats, straight tubes, in combination with a catback is ideal... just to rich for my blood. I know, I know...gotta pay to play.

My cat-back is nowhere near stock. I converted it to a true dual exhaust with an x-pipe and ran straight pipes out to the tips.

It helps in the flow, once you see how nasty and how much of a maze the stock resonators are.
