Light to Light with a Charger!

Had a lil fun with a Dodge Charger sittin on some pretty shoes over the weekend! I was little hesitant at first because we were on actually the same road where just last week 8 people were killed when a driver drove into a crowd of on-lookers watching an illegal street race.... and of course police have been all over the place... we were several miles from that actual location of the accident but I was still noid!

Anyway.... light turns green and because I'm noid I let him take a nose-lengths lead.... which he kept til the next light.

Get to the second light.... side by side.... and I gun it..... I mean we're pushing it.... look down at the speedo and we're at 120 approaching another red light... this time I had him by almost a full car length....

Get to the 3rd light; I roll down my window and he does the same and we're both shakin our heads like.... "yeah nice ride there" to each other! Seemed like a cool cat.... but didn't get a chance to speak longer cause the light changed and we were off again but this time he was takin an exit to get on the Beltway and I was headin into town....

Fun none the less, but I need to try and stop doing what I do and take 'er on the track! But it is oh so tempting when another LX pulls up beside you!

Sounds like fun! Glad you could enjoy and congratulate each other. I've seen people actually get upset when they lost and take it to another level. Just be careful!

I'm mixed on this one. On one hand it's a blast to go head to head and be the winner but on the other hand 120 on the street in traffic going light to light I think thats well.............

I know... and thanks for your honesty.... I certainly agree, fortunately, it was late at night and we were the only 2 at that time.... so it was just a little hard for me to resist!

.... this stretch of road that we were on has long straight aways in between lights at points and well you know.......

Hey Bud nice win but be very careful a friend of mine just got busted on 210 for the same kind of thing but the popo where just down the road and saw the whole thing. He was busted and his car was impounded. I don't know what will happen but his wife is ready to kill him and she is talking about him selling his car which he is not going to do but I don't know where it will end. He does drive a low 10 sec. Ford so I don't know why he would be up-set about getting rid of it. That not really that funny is it

Yeah... that's why I think I'll just leave the speed for the track! It's just soooo hard sometimes, but I have to use better judgement! Thanks!

I'm married with kids and definitely have to be around for them!

Yeah, witht the accident here in Maryland, they will be out for a little while with increased inforcement. I keep my show-off mode contained for the most part, but will double my efforts this year. Budds Creek is too close to where I live so I have no excuses.

yeah, the track would be the best place, but sometimes ppl just cant get there!
