New Pontiac G8 GT
Just had my first run in with one of these....
Guy came flying up to get behind me at a stop light, and on green I just pulled out normally. He flew up on my right and was gunning it, so , since we had a nice long run open in front of us, I dropped it in 2nd and it was on. Keep in mind this was from about 30 mph to 85, but I pulled about 1/2 car length on him..... man that thing is fast!!! We got on the freeway together and gave each other a nice thumbs up, and he gave me the "you won", but that is one quick car.... I don't know I would have kept up from a dead start.... and the sad thing is his looked completely stock. Stock R/Ts be warned, you'll get spanked......  |

I think they are about a half second quicker 0-60, according to the magazines. They have a faster one coming soon.

I know there rating those cars at about 400hp and i'm sure there lighter than the maggie so bean to you on the win!!! by the way one ugly car(pontiac g8) IMO.

The G8 GT is rated at 360hp, 385 ft lbs .

so to the wheels thats...im guessing these
g8 gt 300+hp 320+tq g8 gxp 350+hp 350+tq to the wheels...maybe more maybe less but i think thats fairly accurate prob within 10 +/- conclusion...by this saturday i should be able to spank a g8. gxp...no. Last edited by PhatPhat : 05-22-2008 at 03:16 PM. |
