    Johnson City SlamFest 2012 -- Magnums Encouraged!

    It's only about 40 days away --30 Jun 2012 Johnson City SlamFest is an open car,truck,motorcycle show with all proceeds going to Children's Miracle Network. This year we have a new venue -- Shoppes on the Motor Mile on Bristol Highway in Johnson City, TN. Entry is $30 which includes a professional photo of your car, $20 if you don't want the photo.

    This year is also the first year for the "Grocery Getter" class. Since it seems like every show I enter there is nowhere the Magnum fits specifically I decided to sponsor a class where our cars would fit specially. Since I am sponsoring the class I also get to judge

    Johnson City, TN is in NE Tenn close to Bristol Motor Speedway, and about 90 minutes north of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. for more info or questions

    SlamFest 2012 or hit me up direct. Hope to see another Magnum there (since I can't win anything as "Staff" -- LOL)

    Wish I could go, I worked out there for a few months and loved the area, there are some awesome roads to just get in your car and enjoy... I hope that you get a great turnout

    I will be at Gatlinburg, I basically HAVE to go since it's right in my backyard. I hope to see at least one other Magnum at SlamFest, I'd hate to give the coveted shopping cart trophy to a (shudder) SUV or a crossover

    I'm sorry to say that the Magnum that did show up for the show, while it was good, it was just a half step below the winner. I awarded the Grocery Getter Class to a Jeep Compass

    Don't know if there will be a specific "Grocery Getter" class at the next show up here but there is a show in Bristol, VA July 14 -- Border Town Showdown at the Bristol Mall
