Here is another event this weekend for the Mid-Atlantic area drivers.

We have tried twice to have this event. The first time we canceled because the weather dude forecasted rain. Well, it did not rain. The second time we canceled the weather dude forecasted a cloudy day and it rained.

We are now going to hold this event on JUNE 1st.

WHY?

An opportunity for car enthusiast to get together, put names to faces, share car stories and ideas, show off our cars, and support the members of our Armed Forces by raising money and contributing to the Fisher House Foundation. Briefly, the Fisher House Foundation provides free temporary housing for families of wounded Veterans at major military and VA medical centers.

LOCATION

Parking lot at Racing Dynamics in Alexandria VA (directions and map below).

DATE & TIME

June 1st. Time is 12:00 to 4:00.

RAFFLE

The purpose of the raffle is to raise money for donations to the Fisher House Foundation. See list below for items that will be raffled. Some big-ticket items this year come from Borla, Magnaflow, Velocity Motoring, Turner Motorsports, and Rotora.

ACTIVITIES

We will have a DJ again this year. We will not have food so bring a lunch. We will have sodas available for a small donation.

Darcy will be there again to take pictures of cars, people, pets…and the event. Several of her pictures where featured in the Euro Tuner article for the 07 Meet. For a small donation, people could have a professional picture of their car and/or family. We can setup an area that has a nice background for some car shots.
