This is not hard at all. If you wired up the grill lighting this is very very simple.
Youll Need:
Sound Module
Silicon
wire cutters
philips head screwdriver
zip ties
I think thats it
This is the sound control module.
Like with the inverter clip off the computer wires leaving only the power and ground.
On this module there are two clips that plug into the inverter for power. Leave those connected.
Unless youre running dual inverters you can snip off one. the other is going to go into the inverter replacing the power cconnector you already have in it.

So you need to disconnect the power wires off of the original inverter and you can trash that set of wires and the clip theyre connected to you will be replacing it with the one on the sound control module.
now the pain in the a$$ part. or it was for me because I had to go through trial and error to figure out the right way to do it. Ill spare yall my trial and error tale mostly because I dont feel like typing it.
anyway the mic on the sound control module is too sensitive so even on its lowest sensitivity setting it picks up too much engine noise and makes the lights stay on constantly. So I ended up with alot of silicon. you have to take the module apart. there are two screws on the back and two more inside once you get that off. you wil need to pull the circuit board out and find the mic(pretty easy to find). I took my tube of soft silicon that I used to make the inverter watertight and went all on top of and around the mic. I basically sealed the mic COMPLETELY with more silicon than would normally be nessecary except when trying to keep out sound. I put as much around it as I could without getting much on the rest of the components on the board.
Put that all back together and get a small bit of electrical tape. and cover the hole for the mic.
Thats how I did mine.

And thats where I mounted it. The zip ties arent permenant. Im waiting on some aircraft grade velcro. I put it there because it fit nice and it was in the right place to pic up the right amount of niose from the engine.
original place i was gonna mount it. right on top of the radiator. fit perfectly but too hot.

hmm I thing I got it all.
heres the finished product. Its going to my system in the video.
Hope this helps
