I went with 245/45/20 on a 20x8.5 wheel.

I had 245/40/20 and the sidewall was just too small and left too large a gap between the tire and the wheel well. But I did get close to a full MPG better with the smaller overall diameter...not to mention my old wheels were about 3 pounds lighter a corner).

Nope. RWD aftermarket you typically run et (offset)+15 to +18.
AWD's are an et (offset)+50 to +55 stock.
You can still run up to a 24" wheel on AWD's but the choices get dramatically slimmer.
Problem I ran across was that LX cars are pretty much all (besides the Rolls Royce Phantom) that can fit that big of an overall wheel diameter with little to no modification. Some TRUCKS can't even hold 24's (Range Rover can't). Add that to the fact that most LX owners have RWD and you'll see why there are alot of wheels for the RWD but not the AWD.

On The 300 we have Akuza Rewind whls @20"x9 w/+14 offset with Toyo Proxes s/t> @P255/45R20

On> The Magnum we have Diablo Instinct whls @20"x8 with BFGoodrich KDW @P245/40ZR20

The tire on the 300 fills the gap much better and the ride is much smoother.

Magnum tire is firmer but slightly ruffer but not much.

I am going to put a set of 20" Boss wheels on my AWD RT, What would be my best tire fitment? If someone can shoot me an email with any suggestions. kgb44@yahoo.com

Is it possible to run stock SRT 8 Wheels on my AWD RT?

22X9 up front with 265/35/22s, 22X10 out back with 305/30/22s. It's a bit aggressive.. in fact, the rears look angry and stick out a little more than I was expecting, but there is no rubbing at all. The 305s rub on the Charger / 300, but not the Mag!
