Exclamation Newbie Help w/ 24s+ On Magnum

I'm as noob as it comes with this car & car mods. I recently just bought my 2006 Magnum SXT AWD 2-3 weeks ago (this is also my very first car I EVER bought) & I may put some 24's-28's on them in a month or 2. What will I need to do to accomplish this? I've read around & I read something about extending my spindles. But where would I go for this? A regular customs shop? & How much will I need for them to do this.

Also, can I buy any plain High offset 24's-28's w/ a 5 bolt pattern? Please help.

First of all, Welcome from New Jersey!!! Personally I would go with 22's then lower it. It looks just as nice as 24's but not as expensive. Plenty of people have done 24's here. Goodflellaz has 26's on his and it looks killer!!! I don't doubt he'll jump on this thread. Hope everything works out with ya homie GL!!!

24's you will have to shave the upper control arm bolt... 26's requires a lot more work extended spindles, rolled fenders-or a lift kit, hammer or cut (wouldn't recommend cutting) pinch welds in the front fenders, cutting or removing inner fender liners.... But with your awd offset its gonna be hard to find anything for wheels even with 24's your selection will be very limited....

28s are gonna destroy that car, dude. I wouldn't suggest any bigger than 24s. Findin rims for a AWD will be a lil more difficult but not impossible. I think you want a 36-42 offset or somethin. If you get the proper offset/width/tire size, 24s will look great. I prefer lowered on 22s, myself.
    Just lower it.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback. I may just go with 22s or 24s & buy some 26s-28s for a later project. Idk why, but I just like the way really big rims (28s & 30s) look on a magnum lol. Blame YouTube . I seen a Magnum for $8k in my city. Depending on what's wrong with it, I may buy it as a 2nd car & put some 28s on it so I won't care about all the trimming & adjusting since it's not going to be my everyday car.

I was going for a donk/bubble look hence the really big rims but instead I'm going to go with the sporty/classy look. Thanks again

One more thing, is lowering an AWD has the same effect as lowering a RWD? I was told it would be different since the AWD is already higher than a RWD. & How would I go by doing that?

Here's a how-to on lowerin a AWD. I used this to guide me thru lowerin my RWD. The only slight difference is how the front strut mounts on the bottom. BTW, drop the upper control arm instead. It's easier.
