Custom Clocks

Anyone interested in some custom cut clocks? These are just some design prototypes. They will be cut out of 14 gauge steel and will be swirled with the grinder. You would have a choice of clear coat or candy color with a clear coat. Size is going to be around 14" round. Still working on price, but they aren't going to be cheap because of all the hand finishing that will go into the piece and the fact that they aren't going to be mass produced. Would anyone be interested in something like this and what would you expect to pay for a custom limited edition clock?

Those are pretty cool. I would probally buy one if the price was decent. I cant really say how much I would spend on it because I truly dont know how much work was put into one. I do think it would be cool to have one though. It would also be cool to maybe have a small Cathode tube, or LED to use as a backlight. If it was possible.

I was thinking the same thing about the led's. Anyone know if they make leds that can be powered by a AA or AAA battery or maybe a watch battery?

Hey Steve here is some info I found online about the LED. It is possible (key ring lights, head lamps) but some other materials are required to run it off a battery. I found this on wikipedia and if you read the Lighting LEDs on low voltage section it explains a bit. Hope this helps out.
