5.7 Hemi Custom Engine Covers - Design Phase
Looking to get some feedback and input on an idea I have. I am thinking of making some custom pieces for the center of the engine covers for the 5.7 hemis. Just finished up the rough design and plotted it on some paper to test the fit. Needs some minor tweeks, but what do you think? They are going to be made out of metal. All of the white space will be cut out and you will be able to see the intake manifold or I was also thinking of putting some expanded metal behind.

Great idea Steve.
That looks like a great start there. The upper right hand corner seems like it's missing something tho. Maybe extend a flame tip up there or something. That would be very cool with a color match. |
