Finally found some time to work on the shop's website. Posted a bunch of pictures including tons of the Cadillac build. Check it out

Nope, the hood is actually assisted by gas struts similar to that on the hatch of the magnums. It basically takes place of the large obnoxious spring that the older cars had.
