Looking to upgrade to 24s for the Magnum. Anyone have spinners/floaters or some Dropstars??? Trying to go spinners/floaters on the right side and Dropstars on the left, but I dont think anyones willing to give up 2 wheels and tires from a set of 4. Just let me know though. Maybe someone wants to do the same and we can trade 2 of the wheels and tires????
To each his own i guess.. Try and call a wheel shop and get them from there and that way you can have a spare just in case. On my last car i had a bad ass set of wheels, a truck dropped something on the highway and rolled under my car before i could blink, next thing you know i have a flat and the rim is destroyed. I tried getting another one and the wheel was discontinued. Long story short, i know have a 5th wheel at home..Just a thought.
05 is right and I can't disagree Brokebish either. But, it's all about making the cars our own. I guess you can't see the right side and left side at the same time anyway.
It's a good idea to try a specific wheel dealer. Try wheelsandspinners.com. They are in a better position to make sales by the wheel as apposed to the set. Also, if you get in touch with any wheel dealer, they may have partial sets they want to get rid of for less money.
Just curious as inquiring minds want to know. Whey the different wheel styles on each side of the car?
I am torn between the Dropstars DS02 24s and the Dub Cream floaters. And I could also make one a floater and one a spinner on the one side. But i figured why not make it easy and get both. However, getting all 8 is too difficult for me since college is costing me $8000 a year. So thats why i asked this question.
Why do you need 8 rims? You don't have to order a set of 4 at a time. You can order 1 or 2 of each style. If a wheel shop tells you they can only order a set of 4, move on to the next one.
Try e-bay as well, there's always someone trying to unload either a single wheel or a pair. I know someone who got two wheels and tires to replace his to damaged wheels, very cheap too.
