    I have stock stainless grill inserts and want stock black ones anyone want to trade????

    I just did mine. Yes, it's as easy as it sounds. Hardest part was finding the time to do it.

    What prep is required for plasti dip? Looks great.... need to freshen up my inserts bad.

    I cleaned everything with Windex. Not sure if that is best but It's been over 8 months without any issues...

    Id say soap and water, you just want a clean surface so that it will stick as well as possible.

    I picked up a spray can (black) at Lowes yesterday for 5.99... Several 'how to' vids on YouTube as well.

    I got mine at Home depot for the same price, it's called Plastidip it should be with the spray paint.

    Here's how mine turned out. Previously I had sprayed and cleared w/ gloss black, but chips began to appear (didn't use adhesion promoter on plastic). So I wet sanded and sprayed plasti dip. It's TOO easy to work w/. Not bad and seems durable as heck.
