Mopars at the srtip New topic

Ok fun event but they screwed me and RAz on the judging. Only 4 lx (new HEMI) vehilces entered for the judged contest. they came out looked us over worked the points etc etc... and then come sunday there was ONE winner not a first second, third, Not a best of SHOW just one winner. AJ Trailer Queen ..... with his corporate 300,000.00 chrysler 300K Everyone else that went Truck class, people choice, etc etc.. had a 1st and 2nd place most of the classes had a 3rd place but Us newbies were Ignored. I loved the event I liked racing and seeing the classic Dodges BUT I will never NEVER, bring my magnum all 457 miles down to vegas or give one more penny to an event that totally screws the newer participants. I knoew with AJ's car there none of us regular people would get first place but even third would have been nice. Steve (head of Judging -I think you really made a very unfriendly poor judgement call)

How is it that AJ car was judged and it was displayed with a vendor???? We were there with Mopar about 12 of us, had a blast.

Don't know but with the money he had invested and the way that thing looked I expected it to take first prize, but I would have appeciated 2nd or third or at least recognition of the stress of being judged LOL. The judge said there were'nt enough in the class to warrant 2nd and 3rd palce however quite a few of the a body b body c body etc...... lol only had two or three in the class and every one had a 1st 2nd 3rd place. Was just a little annoying. My wife would have liked to spend a little time during the day in VEGAS and If I had know the winners were all sown up I would have spent sunday with her.

Ohh well guess the newer bodies are'nt that importnat to that particulr head jusge....he also completely ignored the vipers and the one prowler so I dont feel too bad. Did'nt even mention their class.
