2006 r/t crank, no start

My R/T won't fire. It will crank and crank, but will not start. Can spray starting fluid into the throttle body and it will fire. Replaced the fuel pump about 5 years ago and you can hear it, but we replaced it again anyway. Can also hear the new one when you turn the key on but still it will not fire. Only replaced the fuel pump from the drivers side. I have not replaced the regulator portion of the pump on the passenger side. What I have seen on YouTube is that it will cause a long cranking issue that will eventually fire. Mine will not fire. Is the next step to replace the regulator part on the passenger side?

Have you checked your fuel pressure at the fuel rails? Any CEL codes? Did this condition start suddenly? If so, I would check fuse for fuel injectors. It sounds like an electrical issue not firing your injectors. Also, the crank and cam position sensors will leave you stranded. But it Lund’s like you have it isolated to fuel if it’s running off ether.

I have not checked the pressure yet. That what he said he wanted to do. He checked and found no codes. About five years ago the fuel pump went out and this seemed to act the same. Differance is that last time it happened as I was driving down the freeway. This time it happened in a parking lot after parking it about 5 minutes. Wouldn't I get a code if injectors aren't firing. I did not know or think of fuses for the injectors.

You were right. Fuse #15 for the injectors was blown. Thank you so much.
Nice! Thanks for updating. Maybe this will help someone else out. I see many posts on other forums where there’s never closure and you wonder what the fix was. Sometimes it’s the simple things that leave us stranded. Happy motoring Happy Camper!
