I am looking for new tires for my 2006 Magnum. I have 22's on it and hate the fact that when my husband bought me two new tires 18 mos. ago he got two different tires.:eek:mfg:

What are the top tire pics? I really have no idea. I like the low profile kind (I think mine are) I have 265/35R22/102V XL on front & 265/35R22/102W XL on rear....

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!:eek:mfg:

Welcome from Illinois. Two different tires would bother me too, especially if they were different brands... I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. they're at least the same size tho. I saw a 300 that had a combination of 265.35 and 255.30. Judgin by how bald the tires were, I'm guessin he had a couple blow outs and bought whatever he was offered or somethin. I couldn't imagine a 'car guy' doin that.

I am not sure if he even checked, he told "his tire guy" to do me right and went to his check his job site. I didn't notice till after I had driven to palm springs.... any good ideas for what is out there? This time, I am doing it my way! Thanks honey, I guess it's the thought that counts!

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure of which are the best tires but I have always used Toyo Proxes II.
I've always got 50-60 thousand miles on my 20's.

Welcome to the site.

The only difference I see is the speed rating. V has a rating of 149mph, while W is 168mph. Not sure about brand/tread style differences, but I wouldn't worry too much since the are the same physical size.

As far as brands, there are quite a a few out there. I have had good luck with Toyo's. Dunlop Sport Maxx tire seem to be really reasonably priced as well, and seem to have good ratings.

Hope this helps.

I use the Dunlop SportMaxx TT, they are ZR (Y) rated (186 mph) and VERY reasonably priced. A good looking, great handling tire.
