Went to the stealership today for a $24 oil change and lube job and they told me I needed:

  1. Rear Axle Seals - $545 (both sides)
  2. Front Strut Tension Arms - $478
  3. Inner Tie Rods - $321

Luckily, my warranty covers parts & labor, minus $100 deductible. My question is are those issues common at 64.5k miles? How much should it cost (non stealership rates)? What else should I look for at this mileage while I'm still under warranty (til 72k)?

Bringing in this morning,
Any ideas on anything else I should have them check for, or try to get replaced while under warranty?

478 for tension struts, when there like 68 bucks a peice...
Those prices are parts & labor, but still extortion...just glad I'm still under warranty, but at 300 miles per week, won't be for much longer!

Yep, O-ring needs to be replaced....BUT, if they do that today, it will put them over some arbitrary limit that will cause Warranty company to send out an inspector meanin they'll hold my car for a few days, and also charge me another deductible!
