Does anyone know where I can find these? I saw some on ebay and the seller offered both driver and passenger side for $450. Just wondering if anyone knew of a better deal or if there were any with a built in amp.

Just throwing this out there.. It wont sound that great.. Depending on the subs you wont have near enough air space and its a sealed enclosure.. IMO you'd be better off putting it into the floor underneath the cargo area or getting just a small box. But goodluck bud.
I have a set similar to those that I made to fit 10" square L7's. I'm running them with a 1200watt RMS Orion amp. I did this to give me some bass and still be able to use the car to haul stuff as needed. The amp is mounted under the floor board. It sounds great and I have to fix my rear view mirror when I'm listening to Dubstep or anything else with heavy bass. Now if your wanting to use it for SPL or hair tricks, it wont be adequate. But if your needing to keep your space and you are going to use good subs and amps, I think you'll be happy.

I've been using this setup for over 4.5 years and was happy with it. However, I must confess that I made the mistake of demo'ing TeamOSC's setup a few months ago and now I want more and am going to add an 18 as per his recommendation but I will lose the ability to use the rear for cargo. I'm hoping to have it setup so I can remove the box for when I really need the cargo space.

I know SKINN was selling his, shoot him a pm if he still has them.
I plan on getting the JL 12" subs and I'm unsure about the amplifier. I'd rather have them on the sides plus I'd rather have that cargo space.
If your interested in building your own I can send you some pics I took while building mine. Just be warned, I'm not nearly as good as some of these other guys are, but I'm happy with the way they turned out.

interested in those pics as well primalgeek. could you send them my way too? thanks in advance!
A thought that I'm currently looking into as an alternative is building a sealed enclosure under the glovebox. There's enough space to get about a .8cf enclosure under there without taking up too much of the passenger's leg space (besides, these cars have tons of room, just move the seat back). I'm looking into putting one high x-max 10" sub with plenty of power, then putting tactile transducers on the seats to add that "thump factor". I am a busy musician and regularly have to fill up the cargo area with equipment and pulling my 12s out every time is getting pretty tiresome. I dunno, just another thought for you! The mdf to build the enclosure would be <$30. If I do get around to making it happen I'll put up cut measurements, diagrams, pics, etc.
For those that may be interested here are some pics I took while we were building my boxes for the 10 " L7's.

thanks for the link
No problem, I hope it helps in some way. Please remember, we are not Steave Meade or West Coast Customs. These were made by my Dad, son and I and took us about a week, so there are probably better ways to do some of the things we did, but the results came out nice.
Nice! What did you do as far as a finish in the end?

Those look pretty out of the way, do you have an idea of what kind of volume each enclosure is?

i made mine and have 12" Orion with a JL500/1 pushing them and they really hit. I'm impressed at the bass i get out of them. I'm switching up to Rockford subs and amps which i know will hit even harder. Yeah you can build a box that hits even harder but then you lose the space most people are trying to keep with running the side pockets. So i say go for it. and $450 is a good price for ther pair. your not gonna get cheaper unless you buy used. trust me i looked around before i built my own.

Do you still have the pictures? I'd love to see them
I have a pair of these fitted for 12's, which I have some Kenwood's installed. I'm actually looking to sell mine and I payed bout $450 for the pair. In all honesty it's mainly cause accessing the battery and the lower storage space is a real pain.

I don't think the difference will be too big if you change it or not.

I've seen/heard multiple different ways for subs in a maggy, the concept of the custom box where the spare goes honestly sounds like trash, and that was with one jl w7 13" subwoofer. There's plenty of airspace in cargo area for the type he was looking for, rt now I have jus a basic

I've seen and heard different setups in magnums, the concept of a custom box where the spare tire goes honestly doesn't sound that great and that was with a jlw7 13 inch subwoofer, there's plenty enough air space for the ones he's looking for. Personally right now I have one Alpine 12"and a Q-bomb single box with an Orion Class D monoblock 600 watt amp, 1.0 farad battery compacitor, also have blankput 6×9s in cargo and front doors, and blankput 4×6s in dash (little dremel modification needed) and tweeters. But honestly what it boil downs too is what you want to run in "YOUR" car brother
