I pushed the overhead console a little too hard, and it got stuck.mfg:
I am able to open it if I pull it down through one of the sides, but I'd like to try to fix and having it working properly again.
I don't understand how the mechanism is supposed to work, it doesn't seem to be broken... The left side is kinda loose and unaligned...

I guess the only thing I wanna try to disassemble/fix is the sunglasses holder, not the entire console...

when it happened to me.. a spring had come loose on the sunglass holder door.. it got jammed up in the housing which kept it from opening.. i tried to salvage the spring but boogered it up pretty good... no fix, but might give you something to look for...
