:comp26: Since ive bought this car, it has always had this weird pulsation surge felling since 27k miles..had it for two years now, has 65k on it now.. no better or worse.. No one has been ever to tell me whats going on with it.. alt. batt. and starter test fine.. I know its something stupid on an update that needs done, but im sure someone knows what im delling with here.... Can someone please steer me in the right direction ? Thanks..! Chad.. :OMG-WTF-B

It's called MDS surge. When the MDS (multi displacement system) is enabled, 4 cylinders become inactive, saving fuel. Surging is often felt as the MDS system turns on/off and the engine goes from 8 cylinder mode to four cylinder mode and back again.......

It's normal!....All 5.7's have it. MDS can be disabled with a programmer at the cost of a few MPGs.
