My book says NOT to use any kind of spray. I went into Autozone and one guy and the manager confirmed that you can use the QVC throttle body cleaner on it. So I cleaned it with the spray. Now Im getting P0507 and I know it is because of the throttle body. When I took it off the old motor, the backside of the butterfly was completely covered in carbon. It didnt come completely clean with just the spray.
I tried to find ways to clean it on the internet but they all give conflicting ideas and ways to clean it and I dont want to ruin it. Any suggestions??

Don't believe everything an autoparts store employee says.

You can spray the cleaner on a rag and wipe the throttle body clean.
