Here are the basics
2005 SXT 3.5
215/65/17 tires
Stock height

Now what I want to know is what will I have to do to keep my car the same height with these rims. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1338884349.661482.jpg
I believe they are 20's. Whether it be low profile, having to lower the ride with some eibachs or whatever. New help brothers and sisters

Wheel size won't really matter. The ride height is going to be determined by the overall diameter of the tire that is mounted on the wheel.

Use a tire diameter calculator to determine size. Select a 20" that most closely matches your current set up.

215/65/17 = 28" diameter

To match that, you should select a 275/40/20 on a 20 x 8.5" wheel, the diameter will be 28.7" which will add about 3/8" to your cars height.

Seems like Bill hit it on the spot again. Just find the tire profile to match the overall diameter and then after that purchase an Eibach lowering kit and lower it anyway!
