Nice write up bro! You made it look too easy, except for the part where you gotta take the wheels off the jack j/k!
Ha-Ha! Yeah. I gotta do what I gotta do right? I could always buy a low-profile jack, but ..... then there would go some "mod" money and I don't wanna waste it on a jack. lol.

I am missing something...I have to replace the Inner and Outer tie rod ends.

I don't know what the INNER tie rod ends look like, so can someone point me to where the Inner tie rod? Is it as simple as the outer?

??

Nothing like answering your own question...just in case anyone else needs it, here is the pic and here is a link to more stuff on LX (hope its ok to post a link to another site)

Still not sure how difficult it will be to replace the INNER, but I'm getting ready to find out...

Great picture! Shoulda posted that up in the first place, huh?

If you do a write-up on the inner tie rods swap out, link it from this page, will ya? That way, if someone needs both changed out, they can use this thread and then click the link to your thread. No what I mean? :D

Had to revive this thread because I'm pretty sure I need to replace my outers as well.
This is a great step-by-step write up!!
BEANS!!

I did mine a couple weeks ago and it's a very easy fix! Unfortunately replacing them didn't get rid of the clanking noise, turns out I need to replace the torsion struts as well. Save $$ and do both at the same time.

Good write up. A little tip for unseating the tie rod end is instead of hammering on the top if the thread stud you can tap the side of the arm where it is fitted into. Works a lot better and doesn't take that much force at all.

.... garage told me they were pretty floppy when they put my winters on last week.

Yeah same here... great write-up, bean to you!

Great INFO!!! I need mine replaced ASAP...Anyone with a video of replacing the inner tie rods???? I refuse to go to the stealership!!!..lol
inners are a piece of cake just use a pipe wrench and the old one spins right out it took me 40 min to-do each side inners and outters
