i keep twisting it and nothing happens but its a small hole at the bottom of the shift knob but i would have to be hanging upside down to see if anything was in there for me to unsrew....
after you kept unscrewing what was under there was it a screw like top to that pole so i can screw on a new shift knob???Mine was the exact same way, although 2006. I had to keep unscrewing it for longer than it would seem...then it FINALLY came off. A lot more threads than I thought. I have the same little hole down there and thought it was a set screw or something but it wasnt. keep going with the unscrewing idea is my advice.
Yes...but 06 might be different.after you kept unscrewing what was under there was it a screw like top to that pole so i can screw on a new shift knob???
Mid 07's they changed from the screw on to this clip style. So early 07's will screw on, I actually like the clip better. Doesn't come of or twist easy.Id go with greg on this, sounds like the 07 is different...sorry!
I've got one of those 44 Mag shift knob too but not using that one right now! Using my Hurst Pistol Grip Knob!aight thanks for all of your input...this will be my new weekend job since i got this 44. mag shift knob...i think it will look pretty tight in my whip
naw i dont think thats gonna work i think i need to find a bolt that fits on to the pole that the shift knob goes on and put the knob on top of that so it wont spin aroundyou need to drill a tiny hole and put a set screw in to hold it in place
