Okay, creating a thread for new (or old) members that want to know everything about our Magnums! What we need now is a thread stating any intake that you have, or tried. Please tell us your pros, cons, and what you have noticed. For example, tell us that you tried brand X and noticed better engine sound, but noting noticeable on take off. Or, you tried brand X and noticed no additional sound, no take off diff, but on the highway shes a monster.

Thank you!

Hmmm, I have the K & N but haven't installed it yet! It's PURDY though! LOL

had a chrome intakes intake from ebay, it was CRAPTACULAR, horrible mounting hardware, horibble plastic chrome look, no but dyno gain, a lil hollow sounding when opened up at wot..

afe stage 1, u wouldnt even know it was in the car..thats all i will say about that one..

k&n panel filter with intake resonator removed, nice deep growl at wot, no gains maybea lil better mpg

awaiting my big bully intake to ship for my 2.7..and that will be my last intake, lol

Big Bully......... nuff said!!!!

But seriously sounds great, I've gotten worse gas mileage since I put it and my exhaust on......... but that's my own fault for wanting to hear it all the time and driving like a bat outta hell!!!! I did notice some HP gains I put my car back to the stock tune to see and I did notice it some!! And to top it off it looks FANTASTIC!!!!!

Air hammer HO, no longer in production but used to be praised by many (Looks like big bully has taken over the spotlight now)

Good sound, especially at WOT

Added HP? questionable as with any of the intakes out there (IMO). I personally felt a difference. Made my Mag feel "peppier" but I have no dyno test or what not to back it up. The product is advertised at like a 12-13HP gain (with dyno sheets) but I tend to not trust advertising.

I have recorded no loss or gain in fuel economy, granted I have only had it a few weeks and I am still hot on the pedal enjoying the sound.

Modified, stock air box with drop in K&N filter. Can't say whether it a power adder, but it sure sounds much mo' betta.

Air box modified by cutting out the entire bottom... still pulls air in from bottom, sides create a "heat shield" of sorts. Looks bone stock from the top

6.1 hemi with airhammer!! Great sound and WOT and loud PSSSSSHHHH when hemi is shut down!! Noticable throttle response and light whistle at 2 to 3k rpm. I am hitting the dyno next week (march 28th) and will post any gains

I had the Mopar CAI for my 5.7 and that was fine until the moddin' started. Now I have the Aria "M" by Air Flow innovations. Not to be confused with the Airhammer. (They are pretty much the same CAI) Performance wise, can't really tell a difference. It is louder though. It's a much better looking CAI also.

2 welds, 1 at each end. The flange that the filter is attached to also is welded on. invisible also. The quality is outstanding.

stock drop in K&N.... waste of $ if ur goin for performance... MIGHT have gained half a mpg, no power notice... cut the bottom of the airbox off, sounded better, but no gains

Looks great, sounds great and comes with a stainless steel four sided intake box.
Performance wise I'm not sure there was a big difference.
It did seem originally I got about 2 mpg better on fuel.

I would much rather have the AirHammer or the one that Fireman2118 (Bill) has.
Don't have the funds so that is a "Wish List" item.
