Well, I did it, I painted my front calipers. And it was EASY! I was all ready to replace my brakes and decided this was the time to do it. Fortunately, my brakes were showing hardly any wear at 60k miles! No where near the squeek tabs. I didn't want to do the whole process of caliper removal, so I covered everything with a trash bag and masked the whole front of the car. Didn't want to take any chances. Scrubbed the calipers with Simple Green and a wire brush, let everything dry and sprayed away. Did about 4 coats, light and even. Of course the back of the pads got painted, but I'm not worried about that. Those will go away when I do need brakes. Let it dry for about 3 hours and reinstalled. Looks nice! I like! Now for the rear brakes. Don't have any pictures yet, but I'll let you know when I post them. This was the least expensive thing I've done, and I'm happy with the results. Can't afford a whole lot these days.
