First off, hi everyone! I'm new to this website since I've only owned a magnum since november. And I must say I'm loving it!

The reason for my post was that I was wanting to get some rims for my car. I've been looking at 22s, but was curious as to if anyone had problems with 22s rubbing at all? I'm pretty new to the world of rims and I really have NO idea what to expect. Thanks for the input!

aaaaaah, I remember these days July 2004 when I hopped in my first Magnum and I was looking for 22's to put on, times fly when you run thru 2 going on 3 Magnums

anyways, 265/35/22 is the perfect tire size for 22's, if staggered (rim is 22x10.5 or 11) then rear tires can go comfortably at 295/30/22 but keep in mind the offset 06 Mag above stated, my first Mag had a lil rub when I made a sharp U turn because of the offset, but no worries on nothing else if you follow the simple size's

My 22's rub only in very sharp turns, however I don't know the offset on mine!

And welcome from a FOUR MAGNUM family in North Carolina.

If your going to lower your car offset is critical but if your leaving it stock height offset is not as much as a worry but if you can get the right one to start with, that's the way to go!!!

i have mine dropped a inch with the "standard" 265/35/22 and don't thin they have ever rubbed. Offset is the key.

i cant figure the off set thing either. im gonna do 22" but i want a staggered setup. dont we have to roll the lip on the rear fenderwells? i want to go as wide as possible in the rear. right now im at stock height for an 06 sxt. trying to decide on pro series or sportline series from eibach.

I think gomojo31 has an 11" wide rim in the back and he got them to tuck (he has bags also) but yes fender rolling is a must with that wide a rim back there.

I have 22x9.5 rims with a +15 offset and a 2" drop. . . no fender rolling was necessary, the back tucks ever so slightly (do the the smaller fender well in the back) and the front has about 1" clearance. I had to adapt my driving style since the front will clip if I hit large bumps during an aggressive turn but it has only happened 1 or 2 times. Fender rolling in the front would be a good precautionary measure and may be necessary for a larger rim but I have had no serious problems with them not rolled.

Welcome from Illinois. I have a 22x9.5 wheel wrapped with 255/30/22 tires. I'm lowered 2 inches and I'm not even close to rubbin. They fit nicely, but I don't know what my offset is.

I have 22x9's and I've only caught the front fender once. I was turning into a driveway WAY too fast when it happened. I would say roll the fenders and never worry about it.

I had my rear wheels rubbing when I had 4 ppl in my mag on some big bumps when going 60mph ,but i should mention that I got the wrong offset (my wheels sticking out) so u sould be fine as long as u get the right offset for ur mag!
