on my magnum (2005 r/t) it has dual exhaust all the way back it has an x pipe, dual flowmaster 40's then straight out the back with stainless 3.5" tips

k, so there's what i have

now here's the problem, dont get me wrong, it sounds awesome, but when driving going up in rpm right around 2100 rpm the back of the car just vibrates...now i've taken it back to the exhaust shop and they say it has rubber mounts and everything so it must just be the tone the exhaust makes thats doing that...

its only @ 2100 rpm so once it passes that its fine, and before it its fine..and if you fly through the rpms you dont hear it either...

i'm just wondering if someone else has had this, i dont want to put resonators back on it because i love the sound...its just when driving down the highway, guess what rpm it sits @ lol

what can i do to fix this

I have just about the same setup on my 05' RT, it sounded great but I got a lot of drone on the highway.

You need to add 2 short straight thru resonators in the rear, it helped my Maggie.

yah there's a lot of drone, i just dont want it to go back to quiet again with resonators on the back

my car had the stock resonators on it when i got it with the current set up, and i had them cut off and tips put on the back, i just dont want it to go back to as quiet as it was before...but yah i was thinking the same thing..may need resonators back on there again...

The straight thru resonators I am talking about, look like glass pack mufflers. They are straight thru design, you can look right thru them. It gets rid of the drone and you still have good sound.................

Yeah, I had that same problem when I dualled out my SXT with the Borla setup. Just a whole lot of reverberation but after a LOT of miles put on, it's seemed to settle down. But when we take our long distance trips it kicks up again.
The only fix I could come up with is to switch exhausts with a brand that doesn't have that ailment.
Blastin' Bob's? Zoomers? SLP Loudmouth?
