Fan speed adjustment with DSP (Diablo Sport Predator)

Here's how I set up my fan speeds with a 180 thermostat. They have my car running at approx. 184 to 190 and on hot days in traffic, it may get to 192 tops.
The temps can be set cooler. Remember that the lower the fan temp. settings, the more the fans will run. This can put them at risk of wearing out faster.
Another option would be to go with a 170 thermostat if even cooler temps are desired.
With a 180 thermostat, I've found these settings to be a good balance between fan activity and cool running.

When in the Predator, load your tune and select "modify tune"

You'll see

"Cooling fans A/C off"
"Cooling fans A/C on"

select

"Cooling fans A/C off" Here, you'll have 6 settings.
Set them as follows -As the temps are set make sure to save each one.

High MPH HS fan on - 195
High MPH LS fan on - 185
High MPH MS fan on - 195
Low MPH HS fan on - 195
Low MPH LS fan on - 185
Low MPH MS fan on - 195

Now go back to "modify tune" and select "Cooling fans A/C on"
Here you have 3 settings. Set as follows

HS fan on - 195
LS fan on - 185
MS fan on - 195

These setting will keep your car in the mid 180's to the low 190's

NOTE: HS - highspeed
LS - low speed
MS - medium speed

Our cars do not have a medium fan speed. In order to avoid confusion, it has been recommended to assign the medium fan speed setting the same value as the high speed fan.

These fan speeds are meant to be a guideline. The above temperature settings are currently in use by me with my "non bypass" 180 oF thermostat. Your results may vary. If you have an issue that cannot be resolved here, please use Diablo Sport web site. DiabloSport :: Gas and Diesel Tuning Systems

Very Cool! If only I could find a safe way to dye my coolant blue... I'd be all over one of these..
